Directions to Congregation Shalom

The map below shows the two basic routes to Congregation Shalom from the Drum Hill Rotary (at the intersection of Rte 3 and Rte 4).

Yellow Route: You can approach from Rte. 4 North... get off at Drum Hill, follow 4N, after the traffic light where Rte 3A goes right to Lowell, and there is a gas station on the right, on the left will be Richardson Rd. at a nursery.  Go left and Congregation Shalom is immediately on the right after you go under the Rte 3 underpass.

Blue Route 1: When you exit Rte 3 at Rte 4, coming from the North take the first right onto Old Westford Rd. (sign just says Westford Rd. though). Follow past ball fields to a "V" right onto Graniteville Rd, which passes in front of Chelmsford High.  After you see Sully's Ice Cream stand take a right onto Richardson Rd.  Follow and it curves to the right at the High School entrance.  Congregation Shalom is on the left, after Lamplighter Lane but before the underpass.

Note: if you exited Rte. 3 coming from the South, you must go 3/4 of the way around the pseudo-rotary through several lights to get to the Old Westford Road turnoff.  Watch carefully which lane to be in, it's a bit tricky since redesigned -- some lanes merge without notice.

Blue Route 2: Coming from the Old Town Hall, there is a shortcut that avoids the Drum Hill rotary.  Continue past the OTH (former site of Merrimac DBC) on Rte 4 going North.  Pass entrance to Rte 495.  Take the 7th left-hand turn, Davis Rd. (which is across the street from Parkhurst Rd.)  Follow Davis Rd. around a curve to the right, to a blinking light at Main Street.  Cross Main Street and go 100 yards to the end.  Take a left onto Graniteville Rd. and a right after Sully's Ice Cream onto Richardson Rd.  Follow around to the right, and Congregation Shalom is on the left after Lamplighter Lane but before the Rte. 3 underpass.
