We had exactly 20 tables for this NAOP Qualifying Game, organized into two 10-table sections playing the same computer-generated hands. I chose to score across the field, so each of your scores is compared to every other pair in the room that held those same cards, and top on each board is 15. Note that the stratification boundaries are different for these NAOP games. Flight B goes up to 2000 MP and Flight C is only for non-Life Masters. Tim Hill found one small error at the club that was easily corrected and had little effect on the rankings. My complete rechecking found no other problems, so the scores as posted at the club are correct. Congratulations to Susan Kohen and Anand Lele for the best score in the room, nearly 64% and 3.5 MP ahead of Mel Foster and Rony Anisowicz who were second. Adam Grossack and Lew Gamerman were third another 3 MP behind. With two sections, I award Free Plays to four pairs, within groups as follows: 1. Anand and Susan, a Flight B pair, for First Overall at 63.89%, 2. Michael Stevens and Harry Marsh, for first in Flight C at 52.92%, only a single MP ahead of Lou Beckerman and Richard Saval, 3. Mel Foster and Tony Anisowicz for next in Flight B at 62.92%, and 4. Milton Binder and Don Carow for first among Limited A (2000-3000 MP) at 58.61%. There are several listings of results available. The first is the rankings across the combined sections and show the Masterpoint Awards. Anand and Susan won a full 5.00 masterpoints for first place, and ten pairs won at least one MP for various overall finishes.
